Evergreen has just developed a new artificial hedging range. This realistic ‘plastic’ hedge is a new and innovative way of hiding unsightly corners, bins, tanks etc.
Fake hedging is a fantastic way of creating an instant hedge that can give you much more privacy in your garden and that you would otherwise have spent years growing and caring for. The hedging systemis available in two varieties- conifer or topiary.
The conifer hedging comes in a range of sizes from three to seven foot. It is delivered as a pack to your door and is very easily assembled and secured in place. Ingeniously, it can also be taken up and ‘replanted’- this hedge will move around with you wherever you go!
While the conifer hedge is the one you would chose for hiding things, thetopiary hedge is simply used for decoration.
Although the product has just been launched, it has proved very popular and we have already used it for hotel roofs, sectioning and screening and even as a quirky wall covering! This hedge is a bespoke product will be handmade to any specification, a series of hedging panels are attached to a strong mesh frame and fully potted up. The panels can also be worked into any shape, and some wonderful experimental frames have been coming out from our workshop, the latest one being an 8ft high arch that would be perfect for a wedding outside a church door, as real or artificial flowers can be easily attached.
